The manual transfer of delivery notes and certificates sent via email into the company's ERP system is time-consuming and prone to errors. Due to a lack of resources in the customer’s IT department, the process could not be automated.
Solution
In close collaboration with the customer, a comprehensive feasibility analysis was conducted. Through customized PDF scraping, a quickly and effectively implemented solution was developed for productive use to eliminate manual entry.
Impact
Ferro Umformtechnik can now rely on flexible and extendable software that automatically transfers the necessary information from the delivery notes and certificates into the ERP system.
